Mr. and Mrs. Ken Dundr
MOUNT PLEASANT — Ken and Carolyn Dundr of Mount Pleasant celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday.
Dundr and the former Carolyn Bartyzel were united in marriage on June 21, 1969, at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Dillonvale by the Rev. John B. Nadzam.
He is the son of the late Fred and Helen Dundr and is retired in 2002 from the strip coal operations of Consolidated Coal Co.
She is the daughter of the late Ted and Mary Bartyzel and retired in 2008 as a CPA from the accounting firm of Wallace Padden & Co. She and her husband founded Mount Pleasant Building Products in 1991, which they presently own jointly with their sons, Patrick and Brian, and nephew, Kevin Scott.
They are the parents of two sons, Patrick and Brian, both of Mount Pleasant. They have one grandchild.
They will be honored with a 50th anniversary Mass on June 30 at St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Following the Mass, they will celebrate with a family dinner at the Farm Restaurant.
