WEIRTON -- Jack and Carla Stevens of Weirton celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Sept. 29 with a party hosted by their children.
Stevens and the former Carla Hesse were married on Sept. 29, 1956.
He is the son of the late Charles and Virginia Stevens and retired from Weirton Steel's sheet mill department.
She is the daughter of the late Bob and Betty Hesse and is a homemaker.
The couple have five children: Marjorie Bernal of Pueblo, Colo.; Lisa Ciotti of Weirton; Connie Stevens of Weirton; Brad Stevens of New Cumberland; and Jennifer Stevens of Weirton.
They have 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
