WINTERSVILLE -- Ronald and Carol Mazzaferro will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 10.
Mazzaferro and the former Carol Cucarese were united in marriage on Sept. 10, 1966, at St. Anthony Church in Steubenville by the Rev. Joseph Malara.
He is the son of the late Thomas and Edna Mazzaferro and is retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel.
She is the daughter of the late Frank and Julia Cucarese and is a retired visiting nurse with Trinity.
They have two sons: Matthew T. and Todd M. There are six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The couple celebrated with a recent trip to Hawaii and Branson, Mo., and are planning a trip to New York.
