WEIRTON -- Bill and Diane Johnson of Weirton celebrated their 50th anniversary during an August celebration with family and friends at the Outer Banks, N.C.
Johnson and the former Diane Fodor were married on Sept. 17, 1966, at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church in Weirton with the Rev. Leroy Beyer officiating.
She is a homemaker and the daughter the late Steve and Anna Fodor.
He is the son of the late Dayton and Mildred Johnson and retired from Weirton Steel after 38 years of service.
The couple have two daughters -- Deonna Woolard of Lanexa, Va., and Jennifer VanGilder of Collegeville, Pa.
They have three grandchildren.
