WEIRTON – Garner “Hoot” and Deloris Kelley of Weirton will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Tuesday.
The couple were married on Dec. 8, 1950, at the Lutheran church in St. Clare, W.Va.
He is the son of the late George and Goldie Kelley. He retired from Weirton Steel after 42 years as a supervisor in the electrical department.
She is the daughter of the late Artsel Underwood and Matha Swiger. She retired after 24 years as the owner/operator of Style Beauty Salon in Weirton.
They are the parents of Janet Ford of Follansbee and Chris Kelley of Jenison, Mich. Eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren complete the family.
