EAST SPRINGFIELD – Ron and Rayelene McElroy are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today.
A dinner with family and friends will be held.
He is the son of the late William and Leona McElroy and late stepmother Sally McElroy. She is the daughter of the late Sherman and Agnes Stone.
The are the owners and operators of Ron’s Auto Sales of East Springfield, which they started in 1980.
They have four children – William, Clifford, Ronda Weaver and Ronnie.
There are 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
