TORONTO – Mr. and Mrs. Edward Fiala of Toronto celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on Wednesday.
The couple were married on Oct. 28, 1964, in Bray’s Chapel in Toronto.
The son of the late Vernon James and Gertrude Fiala, he was a partner in the former Twin Oaks Lumber Co. and has been the owner of F&M Coal Co. since 1970 with his son, Edward Lee, now as a partner.
The daughter of the late Howard and Mary Jane Francis, she is active at Bell Chapel United Methodist Church in Pleasant Hill.
They have two sons: Edward Lee of Bloomingdale and Wayne of Irondale. There are several grandchildren.
