Free COVID-19 testing to be offered at West Liberty University

WEST LIBERTY — West Liberty University is working with the Wheeling-Ohio County Health Department to provide free, on-campus COVID-19 testing for its students and employees prior to the beginning of the school year. No appointments will be taken, and officials say there will be no need to self quarantine following the tests; however, everyone is urged to wear a mask, limit community activity and practice good sanitation prior to receiving their test results. WINTERSVILLE — Indian Creek Local School District officials have altered their school calendar this year, and buildings will open Sept. 8 to accommodate face-to-face learning.
