Red Knights re-kindle rivalry with trip to Wellsville

WELLSVILLE — After a brief hiatus, the rivalry between the Toronto football team and Wellsville will be renewed this week. The Red Knights and Tigers are set to meet at 7 p.m. Friday night up at Nicholson Stadium. The two river rivals last met in 2022 with the Red Knights coming out on top, 34-6, in Week 1 at Nicholson Stadium. “It is an important game for the Gem City,” Aubiel said. “Wellsville is a big rival. Wildcats look to bounce back in first trip on the road

SALINEVILLE — The Edison football team is looking to bounce back this week after suffering a heartbreaking loss last week to Carrollton. The Wildcats trailed the Warriors, 10-0, in the third quarter before closing to within 16-14 in the fourth quarter.
