Steubenville Police Pushy: A Spring Avenue resident said a man who rents his downstairs space “came home from work (and) began yelling at him for not doing his dishes,” Thursday. The homeowner said when he told him not to talk to him like that, the man “threw him down the stairs” and broke his hand. He told police he wants to pursue charges against the man. Steubenville Police Wake up call: A city resident was taken into custody after he allegedly threw street debris at a woman in the 900 block of Pittsburgh Street and tried to run her over after she asked him to turn his radio down, Wednesday. The woman and her husband told police their family was awakened around 3 a.m. by the music blaring from a car parked across the street.
