Edison places fourth in Queen of the Hill

EAST LIVERPOOL — The Edison girls wrestling team competed at the Potters Queen of the Hill Tournament, placing fourth out of 19 teams at East Liverpool High School on Sunday.
Sophomore Tatiana Spencer and freshman Lydia Krepps both wrestled to first-place finishes to lead the Wildcats. Spencer won the 110-pound pool with two pins. Krepps also had two falls on her way to the 125-pound crown.
Other place-winners for Edison were sophomores Kendall Adams and Lillyan Montgomery, who took second at 235 and fourth at 140 pounds, respectively.
Oak Glen’s Alex placed third at 140 pounds.
West Branch won the team standings with 134 points.
