Toronto churches come together

To the editor:

Thank you, thank you, thank you to five of the churches in Toronto — First United Methodist, Riverview Methodist, First Presbyterian, Church of the Nazarene and Crossroads North Church.

They pulled together and held a community Bible school for the children of Toronto at the city pool. There were lessons, snacks, fellowship and swimming all week in the evenings. The children also collected $197.28 to donate to the Toronto Helping Hands Food Pantry. After a year-long pandemic and separation, it was so wonderful to see adults and children come together safely and jointly to share in Christ and praise the Lord.

Let’s do it again next year.
