Candidate puts service before self

To the editor:

Bob Smith will do an outstanding job as your next county commissioner. As a 1983 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, Bob understands what it means to serve with integrity. He has the ability to interact with any and everyone and will figure out the best way to support you during your time of need.

I have known Bob since 1979 and from day one, he has always talked about his hometown with pride and admiration. In his youth, Bob was a great student and an even better athlete, working hard to make the citizens proud of this community. Now, as a father and a lifelong friend, allow him to serve you again. He is loyal, trustworthy and seeks the truth in every situation. He always puts the needs of the community before his own and will work tirelessly to complete any worthwhile task.

His desire to serve his community is not a surprise and, as a community, you will not find anyone who will work harder and be more dedicated than Bob Smith.

The military taught him to put service before self. Allow him to serve your community with honor, integrity and respect for every citizen.
