Gabbard’s campaign is being suppressed

To the editor:

Hawaii Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, the dark horse candidate running for president of the United States, is facing severe backlash from the media and her own party for her anti-interventionist war platform and for resigning from her position as vice chair of the Democratic National Committee after it was revealed it was stacking the deck against Bernie Sanders.

Gabbard is a major in the Army National Guard and a two-time combat veteran. She also is a member of the armed services and foreign affairs committees. She has dedicated her life to serving her country and her constituents.

The attacks on her by the mainstream media and establishment warmongers are unfounded and shameful.

It’s time for a president that is willing to stand up to the military industrial complex. It’s time to stop putting our servicemen and women in danger and quit wasting trillions of dollars on senseless wars and invest that money here at home. It’s time for a president who is not afraid to speak truth to power and works for the people, not lobbyists.

Gabbard is running a 100 percent grassroots campaign funded by the people and has no loyalty to the big money, corporate donors like most other candidates. Her message is being suppressed by those in power because she refuses to fall in line. With your support she can defeat the establishment elites and bring real change to America.
