Newbrough, O’Brian story meaningful
To the editor:
I am a subscriber to the Herald-Star. I like the newspaper, especially the Sunday edition. I really liked the Oct. 2 article about John Newbrough and Hugh O’Brian (“Weirton man worked with late actor.”)
I enjoy old movies and television shows, especially westerns. I did not know of O’Brian’s passing until I read the article. These days, unless you are Prince or David Bowie, your passing is hardly mentioned. I like to know when an older celebrity has passed. I can mourn them in my own way. That is why I am writing. I was wondering if the paper could print the names of the stars who had passed during the month at the end of the month, probably in a Sunday paper, because it is bigger — it’s just a thought.
I read the Today in History and Celebrity Birthdays every day, as this interests me.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
