DENCIL OLDAKER
Dencil Ray Oldaker, 77, of S. Chester St.; New Cumberland, WV passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at Select Specialty Hospital, Weirton WV.
He was born October 12, 1947 in Belington, WV a son of the late Henry & Dorothy Marie (Knight) Oldaker. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Oldaker and three sisters Margie & Viola Oldaker and Shirley Bowersox.
He was the Owner of Rebecca’s Lounge in New Cumberland and a Retired Crane Repairman at National & Weirton Steel.
Surviving is his children Marty (Laurel) Gatrell of Springfield, Missouri, Michael (Laurania) Gatrell of Brookville, PA and Michelle (Joe) Biela of New Cumberland, WV. Sisters Delma Dulaney of Harper, Iowa and Elva Sue (Larry) Blackwell of Weirton, WV. Seven Grandchildren, Randy, Rachel, Drew, Ariel, Kayla, Mikey and Ty. Fourteen Great Grandchildren and Seven Great-Great Grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025, Visitation starting 10am to 2pm time of service at Turley Funeral Home LLC New Cumberland, WV. Burial will follow in the New Cumberland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions can be made to the City of New Cumberland in Dencil’s Honor something will be put in the South Chester St. Park next to his house.
