ROBERT COLLIER

Bob was born in Springfield, MA. He was the son of the late Leroy Irving Collier and Gertrude Irene (Holehouse) Collier.

Mr. Collier served in the U.S. Air Force for four years and retired from the U.S. Postal Service while in Florida. Many will remember Bob for his hobby of woodworking, which he was very good at building furniture and entering craft shows where he won many awards, his love of nature and the many camping trips he and his wife took in their R.V.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his two sisters, Ruth Clouse and Dorothy Minick; and his step-son, Dwight Morrow.

Bob is survived by his wife, Sharyn Collier of Weirton, WV; three daughters, Julie Collier, Carol Collier and Patricia Thomas, husband, Terry, all of Palm Beach County, FL; four grandchildren, Eric, Samantha, Joshua and Steven and a great-grandson, Damien; brother- in-law, Paul Cappe, wife, Barbara of Paris, PA; very special niece, Beverly Stump, husband, Jeff, and sons who reside in Three Rivers, MI; and several other nieces and nephews a crossed the country.

The James Funeral Home of Follansbee, WV (304) 527-1717 is honored and privileged to assist the family with a private cremation and Memorial Service at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in Robert’s name to Valley Hospice, 10686 State Route 150, Rayland, OH 43953.
