DR. KELLY THOMAS
Dr. Kelly S. Elkanick Thomas, 58, passed away on February 21st, 2023. She was a former Weirton resident, residing in Tennessee, honors graduate of Brooke High School (Class of 82′), WVU, and Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. Interests included dancing, jewelry making, TN DAR, avid Steelers fan, and volunteering. She cherished time with family, friends, and pets.
She is preceded in death by her father, Harry Elkanick and grandparents, Dan & Hilda Kelley and Susan & Andrew Elkanick. She is survived by her mother, Betty Elkanick and two brothers, Thomas and Barry Elkanick (Debbie). She is also survived by her children, Cassie Kitzmiller (Jay), Danny Thomas (Sarah), and Amy and her grandchildren, Jayce, Ethan, Levi, Ava, Sam, Anna, & Jack. Kelly loved the Lord and touched the heart of everyone she met. Her fun and caring spirit will live on through those that love her.
