Richard Beatty
Richard L. Beatty, 73, of Wintersville died Saturday, February 19, 2022. He was born March 20, 1948, in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Leslie and Catherine Coen Beatty. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Lee Ann Corsi.
Surviving are his wife Gloria Seminara Beatty, whom he was happily married to for 50 years; daughter, Shannon Beatty; son, Shawn Beatty (fiancee Alyssa Payne) of Louisville, Ohio and three grandchildren, Blake and Caleb Johnson and Mickey Beatty.
Richard served his country in the US Army during the Korean war and was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel where he worked for many years. He enjoyed fishing with his pal Frank, spending time with friends and family, and cheering for his three grandsons on the field and stage.
A memorial Mass will be held Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 10am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. After Mass, there will be visitation at Mosti Funeral Home from 11:30am until 1:30pm.
