Constance Freshour

Constance F. Freshour, passed Sat. July 24 in Wintersville, OH. Preceded in death was her husband, Lawrence P. Freshour, father Scott Winfield Goff and mother Frances Swan Bailey Goff. Surviving our her daughters, Sharon Miles (Reginald) of Steubenville and daughter Susan Freshour of Wellsburg, WV. Also her brother Scott E. Goff of Albuquerque, NM. and family. Grandchildren Tiffany Bradley (Keith) and children and Ryan D. Clark (Leanne) and children.

Connie was a lifetime charter member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Steubenville for 57 years., where she served as a Sunday School teacher at age 14, long time member of the choir and served as a Deacon. Connie served as was active in forming of the New Hope Evangelical Presbyterian Church.

She was an active member of the Family of God Fellowship, where she served as a Sunday school teacher to young children, was a choir member and served as Elder there for 12 years.

Currently is a member of Starkdale Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed being a servant of her Lord.

She and her husband assisting a local contractor in building of homes. There she got her understanding of how homes should be built. In the mid 60’s, she began her real estate profession starting with Alder Glick, moving on to John Criss Realty and ending her career selling for Cain Realty totaling 30 years. Connie was the first Associate Realtor to take realtor status in order to become President of the Steubenville Board of Realtors. She was nominated for Associate of the Year. 20 year member and past President of the Steubenville Pilot Club and member the OH/WV Questers Chapter 1418.

Connie enjoyed her gardening, golfing, fishing and playing gospel music.

A private viewing for family and service was held and burial will be at Union Cemetery.

Friends are invited to a celebration and memorial service for Connie at Starkdale Presbyterian Church, this Thursday, July 29th, greeting at 6:30 pm with service at 7 pm. Memorial donations can be sent to Starkdale Presbyterian Church in her memory.
