Patty L. Mateusiak, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Sunday, October 20, 2019.
Born April 3, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Antonio Amendola and Jennie Amendola Pialet.
On July 28, 1956, she married the love of her life, Frank Mateusiak, who precedes her in death after nearly 62 years of marriage. Also preceded in death is brother, Anthony Amendola.
Patty found great joy in she and Frank raising their twins, Jennifer and Theresa, giving them the gifts of faith and education and watching them flourish in the world.
Patty had a gift of making everyone feel welcome in her home and treated as family. Over the years, many were touched by her gift of cooking, generosity, radiating smile and warm heart. She was affectionately called “Boo Boo” by siblings and friends, but of all her names her favorite was “Grandma,” as her grandchildren were her pride and joy who she loved so dearly.
She will be missed by all, especially daughters, Jennifer (Chris) Grecko of Clinton, PA, Theresa (Greg) Anderson of Frederick, MD; granddaughters, Jocelyn (Steven) Ebert, Rachel Anderson; great-grandchildren, Sienna and Colson; brother, Joe (Joann) Amendola; sisters, Frances Eafrati, Mary (Guy) Auteri; and countless nieces and nephews.
