Beverly Lelli

Beverly J. (Roush) Lelli, 88, of Wintersville passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Valley Hospice.

Beverly was born in Steubenville on March 31, 1931 to the late Ronald and Thelma (Sivert) Roush. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her in-laws, Querino and Nickolena Lelli; her aunt, Blance Sivert and brother-in-law James Orler.

Beverly was a graduate of Steubenville Big Red Class of 1949. She was a majorette in the Big Red marching band, attended Bowling Green University then married her high school sweetheart, Geno Lelli on December 27, 1952.

She retired from the business office of J.C. Penny to enjoy spending time with her family, whom she dearly loved. Beverly was also a member of Blessed Sacrament Church for over 60 years and the Edward M. Stanton Questers 1412.

Surviving are her loving husband of 66 years, Geno Lelli; one son, Craig (Michelle) Lelli of Dublin OH; three daughters , Marilyn (Bill) Lamatrice of Wintersville, Margie Matthews of Dublin, and Shari (Ric) King of Wintersville; two sisters, Janet Orler of Steubenville, and Suzie Fonow of Sarasota FL; her grandchildren, whom she cherished, Nicholas (Lynsey) Lamatrice, Daniel Lamatrice and Jordan Lamatrice, all of Columbus, Erica (fiance Tyler Hannah) King of Newark OH, Michael and Liza Matthews of Dublin and Anthony (fiancee Melissa Santiago) Lelli and Jonathan Lelli of Dublin; three great-grandchildren whom she adored, Lillian and David Lamatrice and August King.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 3-7 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Additional visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m., Fr. Michael Gossett will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
