Sondra “Sonnie” Ann Johnson, 66, passed away April 19, 2019. She was born in Steubenville, Ohio to union of late Charles and Frances (nee Zimmerman) Johnson on January 25, 1953.
She was a Nurse’s Aid by trade and currently worked at BP in downtown Steubenville,
Sonnie was preceded in death by her parents; Charles and Frances Johnson and a brother; Marc R. Johnson.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children; John “Ewee” (Maralyn) Johnson of Wintersville, Ohio, LaTisha (John) Murray of Wintersville, Ohio, Marcella (Howard) Scurry of Steubenville, Ohio and Dana Rushawn Swearingen of Cleveland, Ohio, two brothers; Elder Charles S. Johnson of York, PA and Timothy L. Johnson of Steubenville, Ohio, two sisters, Rev. Toni Hubbard of Steubenville, Ohio and Carla (Dana) Davis of Wellsburg, WV, a special sister in law; Rose Johnson, special friends; Gene Walker (his son Malcolm) and Shaundra Ross, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
