Fine arts and crafts
The Top of West Virginia Arts Council welcomed guests Thursday to a reception celebrating the opening of its newest exhibit – “Arts and Crafts: Blurring the Lines” – which is on display at the Summit Art Gallery, located within the offices of the Top of West Virginia Convention and Visitors Bureau at 243 Three Springs Drive, Suite 17. Featuring the work of 11 area artists, the exhibit includes craft-based media including mosaic, needle felting, stained glass, ceramics, metals, fiber and more. The exhibit will be available for viewing through July 18. — Craig Howell
