The Logan Avenue ramp to state Route 7 northbound has been closed indefinitely because of a recurring slope failure, the Ohio Department of Transportation said Thursday. Plans to repair this location were already in place, and construction is anticipated to begin by mid-summer. Since January, the slope has continued to fail, prompting the decision to close the ramp out of an abundance of caution until the project to repair it is complete, ODOT said. The exact start date for construction will be announced. The project includes replacing a culvert under the ramp. The detour from Logan Avenue is state Route 7 southbound to Commercial Avenue to return to state Route 7 north. — Contributed
