Airport parking committee to meet

WINTERSVILLE — The Jefferson County Regional Airport Authority Parking Area Research Committee will meet immediately following the monthly board of trustees meeting, which is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Monday in the public conference room in the terminal building at the Jefferson County Airpark, 600 Airpark Drive.

Applications sought for health board

STEUBENVILLE — The District Advisory Council has announced it’s accepting applications to fill an expiring term on the Jefferson County Board of Health.

Board member Mary Mihalyo currently occupies the seat, following her nomination to complete the term left in 2024 by Clark Crago, who was elected to Toronto City Council.

Those interested in applying for the five-year term should send a résumé and letter of interest, detailing any relevant background experience to Scott Fabian c/o Jefferson County General Health District, 500 Market Street, 6th Floor, Steubenville, OH 43952, or email them to jsfabes@comcast.net.

Letters of interest must be received by 3 p.m. on March 7. The DAC will meet at 6:30 p.m. on March 12 in the Jefferson County Towers Building second-floor community room to make the board appointment.
