Diane Gribble has been appointed as a member of the Jefferson County Board of Elections, the Jefferson County Democratic Party has announced. Scheduled to begin her four-year term on March 1, Gribble was selected during a meeting Thursday, party chair Eddie Abdalla said. Gribble is no stranger to the workings of the election board, having served as its director for 16 years. “The entire party is thrilled that they have someone with such superb qualifications and someone who knows elections better than just about anyone else in the county to serve the people of Jefferson County in this important role,” Abdalla said. She will replace Robbie Martin on the four-person board.
