Steubenville sets holiday schedule

STEUBENVILLE — The city’s Sanitation Department will be closed Monday in observance of the Presidents Day Holiday.

No garbage collection will occur on Monday. Garbage collection will occur one day later than usual for the remainder of the week.

Weirton budget planning continues

WEIRTON — Weirton Council will meet for its second workshop to discuss the city’s 2025-2026 fiscal budgets from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

The workshop will be held in the council chambers of the Weirton Municipal Building. It is open to the public.

DD board to meet

STEUBENVILE — The Jefferson County Board of Developmental Disabilities will meet in regular session at 4:15 p.m. Thursday at the administrative confernce room at 256 John Scott Highway.
