WorkForce West Virginia announces Nov. 6 statewide virtual job fair
CHARLESTON — WorkForce West Virginia will host its next statewide virtual job fair from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, the organization announced.
“With WorkForce West Virginia’s virtual job fairs, job seekers can take advantage of a seamless and convenient way to meet employers, ensuring they never miss out on employment opportunities in the Mountain State,” said Scott Adkins, acting commissioner of WorkForce West Virginia. “Since the launch of these events, more than 19,000 West Virginia job seekers have registered to connect with nearly 3,200 West Virginia employers.”
Registration is required for interested employers and job seekers.
When attending the event, job seekers are encouraged to dress professionally and have a calm, clutter-free background. The Virtual Statewide Job Fair portal features a Job Seeker Training video, a list of participating employers and channels for attendees to register and log in.
After registering for the first time, new employers will create a “Virtual Booth” to connect with job seekers. After completion, this booth will be available during subsequent job fairs.
