Jefferson County District 1 (Toronto) Court is accepting donations to make Christmas merrier for kids in need in the Toronto area. Court officials are collecting toys for Toronto Police Department’s eighth annual Shop with a Cop program, and this week turned over the first installment of dolls, action figures, board games and other items contributed by probationers, court officials and community members. Donations for Shop with a Cop will be accepted through Dec. 5, and any items dropped off after that date will go to another worthy cause in Toronto.
