Portion of North Fourth to be closed

STEUBENVILLE — The 100 block of North Fourth Street between Market and Washington streets will be closed to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, the city’s Public Works Department has announced.

Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.

No parking notification will be posted in the work zone today Motorists are advised to remove cars from the street prior to 7 a.m. Wednesday. If necessary, vehicles will be towed at the vehicle owner’s expense.

The closure is necessary to ensure the safety of the public and facilitate work on overhead electric line

City school board to meet

STEUBENVILLE — The Steubenville City School Board will meet in regular session at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

The meeting will be held in the board offices, 611 N. Fourth St.

Wintersville Christmas parade set

WINTERSVILLE — The Wintersville Christmas parade will be held at 4 p.m. Dec. 8 on Main Street.
