Lovers Lane has been reopened to traffic, the Steubenville Engineering Department announced this morning. The road had been closed between Princeton Avenue and the roundabout at Fort Steuben Drive while crews completed a multi-million project that included widening its two lanes and improving drainage. That means through traffic no longer will be forced to follow a detour that has been in place since work started on March 11.
