Lane closure in Beech Bottom to begin Monday

BEECH BOTTOM — A portion of state Route 2, between Third Street and Alley C, in Beech Bottom will be reduced to one lane, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.

The restrictions will allow for sewer and storm drain replacement. Flaggers will be on hand to maintain traffic, and motorists are advised to expect delays.

Student disciplinary hearing scheduled

NEW CUMBERLAND — The Hancock County Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the John D. Rockefeller IV Career Center.

The lone agenda item is a student disciplinary hearing.
