Jefferson County Commissioner Tom Graham visited Toronto Council on June 13 to officially announce the award of $10,000 in county recreation funds for the addition of a handicap accessible swing to the city’s Walton Acres park, an idea suggested by Jessica Porter, aunt of 6-year-old Addy Blanton, who has cerebral palsy. Members of Blanton’s family and city officials were on hand for the news.
