Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce holds annual golf outing

Sunshine and gentle breezes greeted the 112 members who turned out for the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce annual golf outing Tuesday at the Steubenville Country Club. Chamber President Kate Sedgmer said proceeds will be used to introduce several new programs for members. “I can’t thank Trinity, as well as our other premier sponsors, enough for their continued support of this event,” she said. “I’m thrilled with how this year’s outing went and it wouldn’t have been possible without the help of the many volunteers and our event chair, John Cucarese.” On hand to help get ready for the day’s fun were, from left, Cucarese, New York Life; Brad Degenkolb, Holiday Inn; the chamber’s Janet McLaughlin; Jeffrey Schuetz, Schuetz Funeral Home; and Hannah Ward, also with the chamber. — Linda Harris
