Prevention-recovery board to meet

STEUBENVILLE — The Jefferson County Prevention and Recovery Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. Monday at its office at 524 Madison Ave.

Route 2 traffic delays expected

NEWELL — The West Virginia Division of Highways advises that on 7 a.m. Monday until 6 p.m. on Oct. 22, state Route 2 from Racetrack Road to Congo Arroyo Road will be restricted to one lane.

The lane restriction is necessary for Kelly Paving Inc. to pave of the roadway.

Motorists should reduce speed and expect delays. Work area will be maintained with flaggers.

Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.

Youngstown men face drug charges

WHEELING — Kamron Eugene Miller Sr. and Andre Duana Bundy, both of Youngstown, appeared in federal court Wednesday on multiple drug charges, United States Attorney William, J. Ihlenfeld II announced.

Miller, 34, and Bundy, 38, are each charged with one count of conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine hydrochloride and cocaine base; three counts of distribution of 50 grams or more of methamphetamine; one count of distribution of methamphetamine; and one count of distribution of fentanyl.

Miller and Bundy are accused of working together to distribute the drugs from May to September in Hancock County and elsewhere, including the Northern District of Ohio.

The indictment includes a forfeiture allegation involving more than $210,000 in cash, an assault rifle, two pistols and several rounds of ammunition seized during the investigation of the case.

Assistant U.S. Attorneys Shawn M. Adkins and Clayton J. Reid are prosecuting the case. The Hancock-Brooke-Weirton Drug Task Force, the Drug Enforcement Administration in Wheeling, the Drug Enforcement Administration in Youngstown and the Ohio State Highway Patrol investigated. The Marshall County Drug Task Force, the Ohio Valley Drug Task Force and the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Department assisted in the investigation.

U.S. Magistrate Judge James P. Mazzone presided.
