Preschool students at Jefferson County JVS ready to learn

Aryen Thompson, 4, gets a glimpse of what’s in store for preschool at Jefferson County Joint Vocational School. Thompson, with senior early childhood education student Lainee Harris, attended an open house with his family prior to beginning the program. The preschool, which is led by ECE instructor Rebecca Kelley and includes her students and aide Deanna Hines, will have only 12 tykes due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The preschool operates from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. For information, contact JCJVS at (740) 264-5545. (Contributed photo)
