Irondale UMC peach festival set

IRONDALE — Irondale United Methodist Church will host its peach festival from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the church, located on Grant Street.

The menu will include hot chicken sandwiches, barbecued ham, a baked potato bar, hobo beans, fruit and a variety of peach desserts and ice cream.

Cost is by donation. Patrons can dine in or get takeout. For information or to place an order, call (330) 532 3790 the day of the festival.

Boil advisories issued in Steubenville

STEUBENVILLE — Due to main line breaks Monday, boil advisories have been issued for the 3100 block of Whitehaven Boulevard; the 2600 block of Cherry Avenue and Cleveland Avenue; 2500 blocks of Cherry Avenue, Cleveland Avenue and Forest Court; the 200 block of Pico Street and North Forest Avenue; and the 300 block of North Forest Avenue.

Roadway to close for slip repair

ADENA — A portion of county Road 10, Smithfield-Adena Road, will be closed starting at 8 a.m. Wednesday.

The closure will be along the roadway 400 feet from the Adena Village corporate limit.

The roadway will be closed for approximately three weeks for a slip repair project.
