Mingo Junction Social Services on Wednesday distributed more than 250 bags of food to needy residents for the Easter holiday. Sophie Schoolcraft, social services director, said children also received an Easter basket full of candy and treats. The food bags included ham and other meats and a variety of items for a home pantry. Members of the National Junior Honor Society at Indian Creek Middle School helped in the distribution of the bags.
