Top Edison spellers
Sara Johnston, a seventh-grader at Edison Jr. High School, placed first in the Edison Local district spelling bee held Tuesday at the Stanton Elementary School auditorium. Johnston won by correctly spelling “synopsis,” a condensed statement or outline, in round 15.
