Don’t text and drive

The Ohio State Highway Patrol, local business owners and Steubenville High School students on Friday kicked off the patrol’s annual program urging drivers of all ages not to text while driving. Billboards featuring students from Steubenville, Edison, Catholic Central, Toronto, Buckeye Local, Indian Creek and Harrison Central high schools will be displayed promoting the program. Taking part at SHS were, from left, Ohio Highway Patrol Lt. Joe Fetty; State Farm agent Casie Johnson; Trooper Darren Johnson; SHS seniors Jacob Clevenger and Makayla Crownover; Cedar One Realty broker Joe Luckino; and TEAM Automotive Service Manager Jordan Teramana.
