Smashed: A Warren Township man reported two holes in the windshield of his muscle car, Tuesday. According to the report, he located a brick on the roof he believed to be the instrument used to break the windshield. He named two potential individuals involved, but did not have a witness. Later, a family member reported finding a witness.

Arrested: Stacey West, 50, Apartment H, 811 Market Square, petit theft, Wednesday.

Arrested: Ryan T. Hyde, 26, 215 Eleanor St., Mingo Junction, driving under the influence and marked lanes violation, Wednesday.

Arrested: Donald L. Burk, 50, 411 Henry Ave., domestic violence, Thursday.

Arrested: Donald Staymate, 38, Hopedale, petit theft, Thursday.

Cited: Bryce L. Flenniken, 22, 177 Williams Blvd., Wintersville, failure to yield and possession of drug paraphernalia; and David L. Ware, 69, 618 North Fifth St., open container.

Cited: Danica M. Smith, 18, 317 Wilshire Blvd., failure to maintain control. According to police reports, Smith was turning from Brady Avenue onto Ridge Avenue at about 12:30 a.m. Thursday when she hydroplaned in a pool of water and lost control, causing her vehicle to veer into a stop sign, through some bushes at 1659 Ridge Ave. and into that home and another vacant one at 1657 Ridge Ave. The stop sign struck a front window of the first home. A passenger was transported to Trinity Medical Center by the Steubenville Fire Department for apparently minor injuries.

Turned in: Roger Davis Jr., 27, Oak Grove Ave., turned himself in on a failure to appear warrant, Tuesday.

Turned in: Joshua Vein, 33, Jewett Road, turned self in on a bench warrant, Tuesday.

Crash: Police responded to a two-car crash, Tuesday. According to the report, a vehicle was stopped at the stop sign on Sinclair Avenue at Lovers Lane and was struck in the rear by another vehicle. Gary E. Huggins, 62, 109 Scharlotte Ave., Mingo Junction, was cited for assured clear distance ahead.

Theft ring: A caller from a local grocery store reported a possible “theft ring” in the area, Tuesday.

Loud noises: Police responded to reports of a male screaming on the 400 block of Adams Street, Tuesday. According the report, the officer was told by the subjects father the individual was screaming at video games. The individual then screamed at police that they were trying to “set him up” and that the neighbors were trying to “set him up,” the report said. When the officer told him he needed to keep it down out of respect for his neighbors, the individual slammed the door, the report said.

Towed: Several vehicles around the city were towed for violations, Tuesday.

Cited: Vanity Gilbert, 21, 468 S. Sixth St., driving under suspension; Nicole I. James, 20, 805 Market St., driving under suspension.
