Altercation: A woman working in her garage with her estranged husband told police she slugged her husband’s girlfriend after the other woman pulled up to the property and threatened to hurt her, Friday. The woman said she wanted the girlfriend off her property. Her estranged husband corroborated her account of the interaction, police said.
Violent: A woman in the 600 block of Grandview Avenue said she was arguing with her boyfriend about money when he grabbed her by the neck and spit in her face, Friday.
Broken: Someone broke a window in the 900 block of Sherman, Friday.
Risky business: Callers reported a Red Ford Fusion with “multiple occupants” throwing fireworks out the window, Friday.
Vandalism: A resident in the 800 block of Rosswell reported three outdoor “flamingo” lights and seven inflatable pool toys punctured and their koi pond drained, Saturday. The homeowner said the fish may not surive. The suspect left pink socks and a pink hairband by the pool. Video camera footage is being reviewed.
More vandalism: Someone removed landscape lights and hanging baskets from a property in the 800 block of Lawson Avenue and another near Cardinal Street and Lawson Avenue, Saturday.
Bickering: A man living in the 700 block of Market Street said he stopped another man from taking a shopping cart he was using for his laundry so the man shoved it into him, Saturday. The man sustained small lacerations to his left shin and left forearm, police said.
