Aggressive: Callers reported a woman with a steak knife threatening passersby in a parking lot in the 800 block of Market Street, Tuesday.

Angry: A woman screamed obscenities and acted belligerently toward a man sitting in the 1400 bock of Pennsylvania Avenue, Tuesday. The woman allegedly swore in the man’s face, but left the scene when officers told her she was risking arrest for disorderly conduct.

Damaged: A woman traveling eastbound on Permar’s Run Road told police a tree fell on her car, damaging the bumper on the drivers’ side, Tuesday.

Vulgar: Someone sprayed profanities on “numerous buildings” in the 600 block of South Street, Tuesday.

Trashed: A resident of Clinton Street was told she would have to pick up several bags of garbage illegally dumped on McCook Avenue, Tuesday. The woman, traced through a letter found in the garbage, told police she’d paid someone $40 to haul the trash away. Police advised her of the city’s twice-yearly bulk pickup policy.

Offensive: A vulgar note was left on the windshield of a vehicle parked in the 100 block of South Third St., Tuesday.

Vandals: Anti-capitalistic graffiti “similar to other areas of the city” spotted on buildings in the 200 block of South 5th St., the 700 block of North Street and 200 block of North 8th Street.

Struck: A vehicle parked in the 800 block of Market Street was struck by a silver car, Tuesday.

Removed: A resident in the 300 block of North Commercial Alley said someone removed the screen from a window, Tuesday. Nothing appeared to be missing but blood was found on the windowsill, police said.

Nuisance: Juveniles in the 2700 block of Cleveland Avenue were warned they would be cited if they were caught in the street, Tuesday. Officers also warned the kids not to make a nuisance of themselves riding in yards, either.
