Jefferson County sheriff

Threatened: A woman in Cross Creek Township said she was threatened with a firearm by two individuals, Sunday. A family member of one of the individuals said a male subject was intoxicated and had made such threats in the past, but had not done so this time, according to the report. The caller was instructed on how to get a protection order.

Theft: A Bergholz man reported his row boat had been stolen out of his yard, Saturday.

Trespassing: A business reported seeing two men, possibly armed with rifles, on the premises, Sunday. According to the report, one of the men was observed entering a trailer. An employee told the sheriff’s department he saw one of the males go into the woods and the other leave on what was possibly a four-wheeler, the report said. A lock was damaged and tools stolen, according to the report.

Arrested: John Antill Jr., 53, 911 Biltmore Ave., Toronto, failure to appear, driving under suspension.

Arrested: Ronald Martin, 36, Reese Drive, Empire, failure to appear, Sunday.

Arrested: Sarah Martin, 19, 640 county Road 56, Toronto, failure to appear, Sunday.

Arrested: Joshua Elias, 29, 85 Bennett Ave., Wintersville, domestic violence, Monday.

Steubenville police

Theft: A Dock Street resident told police his roommate trashed his apartment, knocking over potted plants and a large, flat-screen TV and stealing his PlayStation, Friday.

Hit: A fence and gate at a business on North Seventh Street were damaged by a hit-skip driver, Friday.

Fled: The driver of an older Dodge Ram with silver vent shades lost control of his vehicle and traveled off University Boulevard, striking an unoccupied vehicle parked in a lot and fleeing the scene, Friday.

Arrested: Amy Jo Haines, 28, 301 N. Seventh St., bench warrant, Sunday.

Assault: A woman told police she woke up and saw a man she knew in her house, Sunday. According to the report, the woman said she asked the man to leave, then noticed cash and medication missing from her purse. The report said the woman said she located and confronted the man about the missing items and he punched her in the face multiple times and fled. Police were unable to speak with the male.
