Jefferson County sheriff

Stolen: A man reported a firearm stolen from his vehicle, Sunday.

Arrested: Douglas Reese, 47, 1653 county Road 68, Toronto, theft, Sunday.

Steubenville police

Arrested: Angela Gilliam, 46, 318 S. Fourth St., bench warrant, Sunday.

Shots fired: Officers responded to shots fired on the 700 block of Highland Avenue, Sunday. Officers checked the area and found no evidence that shots had been fired.

Requested: an officer was stopped by an individual and asked to speak with a family member regarding smoking marijuana in the house, Monday. According to the report, that individual denied doing so and said they would not.

Assaulted: A man said he was assaulted while walking along a roadway, Monday. According the the report, the man said he was approached by a male subject and repeatedly punched. Officers observed the man to have red marks on his face and abrasions on his back.


Arrested: Joshua P. Kovach, 304 Arch St., Amsterdam, possession of marijuana, DUI, child neglect, March 4.

Arrested: Tyler Scibetta, 336 Wayne Ave., Weirton, trespassing, public intoxication, March 5.

Arrested: Vandellia Hearn, 341 Greenbrier Road, Weirton, possession of meth, possession of a drug abuse instrument, March 5.

Arrested: Joshua A. Wacco, 12844 Echo Dell Road, Lot 100, East Liverpool, urinating in public, March 5.

Arrested: Anthony Pathis, 1302 Belleview Blvd., Steubenville, shoplifting, fleeing on foot, obstructing, warrant, March 15.

Arrested: Kandi Shaunte Cooper, Apt. 7, 401 Dresden Ave., Steubenville, DUI, March 17.
