Steubenville

Arrested: Angela Eisnaugle, 43, 24 Swick Lane, Steubenville, having physical control of a vehicle under the influnce, Tuesday.

Cited: Austin Tennent, 20, 511 Lee Road, Follansbee, expired plates; Terry L. Green Jr., 36, 3049 Township Road 242, Toronto, driving under suspension. Also warned for excessive window tint.

Assaulted: A woman in the 1600 block of North Labelle Court was assaulted by a subject known to her Monday. The woman told police she told a former boyfriend, who she said was intoxicated, he could stay at her residence but he locked her in the building and when she tried to leave, smashed his phone, dragged her and tried to strangle her. Police found no evidence of a physical altercation other than the broken phone.

Found: Two hypodermic needles discovered on the ground in the 500 block of Ross Street, Sunday. Police disposed of the needles properly.

False alarm: A man flagged a police officer down to report hearing screams in the 600 block of North Fifth Street, Sunday. Officers checked the residence in question and were told everything was fine.

Lost: A woman told police someone took her wallet from her vehicle while it was parked outside a fast-food restaurant along Sunset Boulevard, Sunday. The victim said $40 in cash and two debit cards were in the wallet.

Missing: A man said his female roommate took his phone and $20 from him, Monday. The woman said she broke the phone so she gave the man $40.

Differing: A man told police the mother of his children spit on him and pulled him by the hair when an argument erupted while she was picking their children up at his mother’s apartment, Monday. The woman told police he followed her around the house, screaming at her.

Violent: A man became irate during dinner and began destroying things in a residence in the 1200 block of Pennsylvania Ave., Monday. The woman told police he flipped the dining room table over, threw hot items off the stove, hurled garbage down the stairs and pulled the front door off the frame before leaving with her car keys. The woman was unwilling to pursue charges, police said.

Threatened: A woman who parked her car crookedly in a handicap space outside a store at the Fort Steuben Mall said a male passenger in a minivan waved a gun at her as she walked through the parking lot, Monday.

Litter: The owner of a property in the 1600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue was told to remove old furniture piled up, Monday.

Litter: The owner of a property in the LaBelle View area was notified to remove junk and litter, Monday.

Litter: The owner of a property in the 1500 block of Oregon was told to remove junk and litter strewn in the driveway and on the side of the house, as well as bags of trash left in the backyard, Monday.

Litter: The owner of a home in the LaBelle View area was notified to remove several bags of old construction materials left on the front porch, Monday.

Litter: The owner of a property on Pleasant Heights was ordered to remove household garbage scattered over a hillside at the rear of the residence, which appears to be vacant, Monday.
