Steubenville

Assault: A woman reported she was assaulted by her boyfriend on Wednesday after finding him in the residence with another woman involved in narcotics activity, police said. She was noted to have an abrasion and marks on her neck, according to police. She advised police she would like to pursue charges. Officers were unable to locate the male subject. The report was forwarded to the prosecutor’s office.

Thefts: Officers responded to Lowe’s where four thefts were reported, Wednesday.

Arrested: Joshua J. Fayak, 38, Ravine Street, Steubenville, probation violation, Wednesday.

Stolen vehicle: A woman reported her vehicle stolen, Wednesday. She told police the vehicle had broke down on Railroad Avenue and, upon her return, discovered the vehicle was no longer there.

Damaged: Police responded to the library where a man said his vehicle had been struck and the driver fled, Wednesday. A large dent was reported on the left front corner of the vehicle, police said.

Advised: Officers responded to a residence where a woman said her neighbor had been outside naked and yelling loudly, Wednesday. Officers were shown a video of the alleged incident and advised the neighbor to put clothes on and keep it down.

Cited: Robert E. Cutler, 53, 425 West Main St., Edmore, Mich., red light violation; Trevor A. Shenton, 21, 414 Henry Ave., expired plates; Amanda D. Thompson, 39, 1500 state Route 524, Bergholz, prohibited turn on red; Carletta L. Smith, 39, 180 North Fourth St., driving under suspension, expired license plates; Sierra K. Fields, 22, Steubenville, expired registration; Torrie Felton-Elder, 28, 525 Clinton Ave., expired registration; Karrington L. Montgomery, 28, 1502 Foster Place, driving under suspension.

Jefferson County sheriff

Arrested: Frances Davisson, 38, 304 Park St., Empire, domestic violence, Thursday. The sheriff’s office responded to a call of an assault. The deputy was advised the woman was intoxicated and had been in an altercation with two individuals. One of the individuals was noted to have red marks on his neck, the sheriff’s office said. The deputy reported Davisson smelled of alcohol.

Arrested: Robert Ring, 48, 473 Woodland, Ave., Steubenville, domestic violence.

Arrested: Damien M. Nelson, 30, 119 West High St., New Philadelphia, parole violation.
