Concerned: A Lyft driver told deputies a fare had told him “how they should let Ted Bundy out of jail and the world needs another serial killer,” Sunday.

Mingo Junction police

Arrested: La’neal Buford, 27, 1312 Hill Ave., Steubenville, warrant, Sunday.

Harrison County sheriff

Arrested: Joseph Carapucci, 51, 112 Aetna St., Mingo Junction, warrant, Saturday.

Steubenville police

Arrested: Eugene G. Battlochi, 31, 135 Cara Place, Wintersville, bench warrant, Sunday.

Angry neighbor: A woman told police her neighbor in the 2400 block of Sunset Boulevard had brandished a firearm when she parked in front of his driveway, Sunday. The woman told police it wasn’t the first time the neighbor had confronted her. When questioned by police, the neighbor said he’d acted like he had a gun but didn’t. He also told police the woman frequently blocks his driveway with her vehicle and he complains, but she won’t stop.

Concerned: A caller reported a suspicious man parked in a driveway in the 300 block of Woodlawn Road for an extended period, Sunday. Caller told police the man got out of the car several times to urinate.

Punched: A man living near the intersection of Fourth and Washington was punched in the face outside his residence when he asked a man to stop yelling, Sunday. The man’s glasses were broken during the assault.

At risk: A man reported his girlfriend threw saltine crackers at him during an argument in the 100 block of South Seventh Street and he wanted the incident documented, Monday.
