Ohio Valley Chorale to entertain

STEUBENVILLE — The Ohio Valley Chorale will once again entertain audiences with a variety of holiday musical selections through a special performance set for 3 p.m. Sunday at the First Westminster Presbyterian Church in Steubenville.
Entitled “O Holy Night, A Celebration of Carols,” the event will be free of charge and open to the public. A free-will offering will be collected at the performance.
Seating at the church, located at 235 N. Fourth St., will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
There are 86 singers who make up the Ohio Valley Chorale, who are accompanied by a 36-piece professional orchestra led under the direction of Conductor Erik James Lucas.
Among the concert’s selections will be “O, Holy Night,” “Carol of the Bells,” “Mary, Did You Know?” and a special rendition of “The Twelve Days of Christmas,” commented Robb Townsend, the chorale’s president.
The Ohio Valley Chorale expressed its appreciation to the private and corporate donors who have supported the group since its founding in January 2017.
Rehearsals for the 2026 spring concert will begin at 7 p.m. Jan. 19 at First Westminster Church.
